Join me for the book launch of All the Men I Never Married
Hi all – I’m really looking forward to the book launch of All the Men I Never Married on Friday 15th October at 7.30pm.
I’ll be reading from the collection in person at the Castle Green Hotel in Kendal but we’ll also be streaming to a live audience. I’m really happy that some poets and friends Clare Shaw, Jennifer Copley and David Tait will be joining me as well.
If you’re coming in person
You can arrive any time from 7pm to find a seat and get a drink – they’ll be music by Julie Rogerson and Daniel Smyth and at some point in the night, there will be cake, provided by my very talented friend Justine Blackburn from JusBakes.
Readings will begin at 7.30pm.
In person tickets have now sold out, but you can still register to attend online here.
If you’re coming online
All online ticket holders will receive a link to view the live stream on the day of the event.
Sadly, we can’t send any of the cake to you, but you can still buy a book, and you do get to attend in your pyjamas, which is always a bonus!
All The Men I Never Married is available to pre-order on the Seren website: £9.99

Seren takes the safety of our events very seriously. Social distancing will be in place and we are limiting the amount of in person tickets available. Masks will be required when entering and moving around. There will be a chance to get books signed by Kim at the end of the event. Please consider taking a lateral flow test before attending in person. Do not attend if you are presenting any symptoms of Covid-19 or have come into contact with a positive case within 10 days prior to the event.
Captions for the online event will be provided by Otter.ai and the poems will be shared on screen during the readings.
If you have any questions about safety measures or accessibility please contact sarahjohnson@serenbooks.com.
Please note: The in person will go ahead subject to Covid-19 guidelines in England remaining the same. Any changes to the event will be communicated to ticket holders as soon as possible.
